Connect to Carina

Depending on which resources you plan to use on Carina On-Premise, different connection methods exist. Before reading on, make sure that you are connected to the full-tunnel Stanford VPN.

Interactive Connections
Interactive methods enable clients to access a graphical user interface, on which they can point and click to open their code, drag and drop datasets, etc.
Access JupyterLab: JupyterLab is available for accessing your favorite statistical software on your cloud compute environment. It is an increasingly popular interface among data scientists.
Note that the terminal inside of JupyterLab on Carina is not connected to Slurm. Connect via SSH to interact with Slurm.
